Hey! I'm Monica!
I'm married to Chris and we have one son, Blake. Chris is a lineman and Blake is an 8th grader. We have 3 dogs, a cat, and an axolotl. I'm a Christian and I thank God for all of the blessings He has given me!

My family lives in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains.
I love to read, take photos, swim, and be at the beach.

I graduated from Campbell University in 2002 with my BS degree in Elementary Education K-6. I graduated from East Carolina University in 2007 with my Master's degree in Instructional Technology.

I was a classroom teacher for 19 years. I taught 4th grade for 16 years and 1st grade for 3 years. Then I decided to resign and homeschool Blake for a year.

The next year I took a job as an Instructional Technology Facilitator at a rural school in NC. I loved it right away! This is my third year as an ITF, but now I split my time between two schools. It's a lot of work, but I love both of my schools.
I started creating resources for teachers in 2012. When I'm not at school, I'm creating, updating, or revising resources that upper elementary teachers can use in their classrooms. I know how valuable your time is, so it's my goal to create rigorous, high-quality, and easy-to-use resources for you.
I'm so glad you're here!
